Breweries/Bars Route:

1. The Dirty Shame- Ybor City (Tampa)- A cool little dive bar with 19 crafts on tap, many of them European/English.

2. James Joyce Irish Pub & Eatery- Ybor City (Tampa)- An expansive tap list of about 50 brews and fantastic food.

3. The Brass Tap- Ybor City (Tampa)

4. Tampa Bay Brewing Company- Ybor City (Tampa)- An area landmark and perhaps the best known brewpub in the metro. Great food and solid beers brewed inside. A cool outside patio/bar is available as is inside seating.

5. Cigar City Cider and Mead- Ybor City (Tampa)- Cigar City’s Cider and Mead off-shoot featuring lot’s of apple juice and honey beverages.

6.  New World Brewery- Ybor City (Tampa)- An iconic and hip tavern (and former brewery) with a dive bar-ish feel inside and an awesome patio area. Food is available along with the at least 25 crafts on tap.

7. Pour House- Channelside (Tampa)- A cool and masculine-feeling real-McCoy beer bar with 40+ craft brews on tap and free popcorn.

The Skinny: One to walk and perhaps cab or trolley back. Start off in Ybor City at The Dirty Shame for a pint of English ale then head over to the James Joyce for an appetizer and one heck of a beer selection. Wander over to The Brass Tap Ybor then to close by Tampa Bay Brewing Company afterward for a couple of fresh brews and lunch/dinner on the awesome outside patio then continue on to Cigar City Cider and Mead for a slight break from beer. Stop by New World Brewery for another glass of malty goodness on their equally cool patio. Finish up with a nice walk (or cab/trolley ride) over to the Pour House in Channelside for a final pint or two in a cool little beer bar.
