Urban Ale Trail: St. Pete (Downtown)

Urban Ale Trail: St. Pete (Downtown)

Breweries/Bars Route:

1. Tap Room at the Hollander (Hotel)- St. Pete-  A boutique hotel with reasonable rates plus 21 craft beers on tap and food.

2. Hops and Props- Located at the St. Pete Museum of History, sample one of 24 taps and a limited but good looking menu.

3. The Ale and the Witch- St. Pete- An iconic beer bar near the water with 32 solid brews to choose from.

4. Cycle Brewing Co.- Known for high quality premise brewed ales with cycling names. Great beer.

5. St. Pete Brewing Co.- The area’s newest brewery with a slew of good beers on tap.

The Skinny: Start out at The Hollander for a tasty pint and some food, and perhaps a reasonable room for the night. Mosey on over and soak in some history and some craft suds at Hops and Props. Then relax in the courtyard at The Ale and the Witch for another glass of artisan brew. The last two stop on this trail are Cycle Brewing Co. and St. Pete Brewing Co. for some uber-fresh suds. Grab dinner at one of the many restaurants then check out the other downtown beer stops at the Westside Stumble: St. Pete (West Downtown) mini beer trail. Don’t get behind the wheel though.
